Emma Patel
Emma joined Setfords in 2010 and heads up our family law department in the Guildford and
Woking area.
Emma provides a high quality and personal legal service and has significant experience
in finding fair, reasonable and economically acceptable solutions to what can often seem
like insurmountable financial and emotional problems.
Emma specialises in advising on marital breakdowns (including separation and divorce),
financial disputes, cohabitation, pre-nuptial agreements and children. Emma is also
able to assist her clients with the preparation of their wills and conveyancing where required.
Emma lives locally with her fiancé and outside of the office she enjoys travelling whenever and
wherever possible.
Memberships: Emma is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) which encourages the resolution of disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational manner.
